Youth Support

HYMC offers an educational scholarship program to support student. It is the annual HYMC Scholarship Program described below.

HYMC Educational Scholarships Program

Annually with the support of our sponsors, HYMC is able to provide annual education scholarships to support students nominated by our member organisations. In 2016, the scholarship program is supporting 33 local students achieve their goals.

The 2016 competition, for financial support during 2017 opens on 1 August 2016.  Applications will be received until 21 October 2016.  

The Pinnacle Foundation

The Pinnacle Foundation offers scholarship opportunities to young LGBTIQ (Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, Queer, Intersex or Transgender) who desire to undertake full-time education at a public or private secondary school (final year) or public institution of higher education in Australia. It will be for the purpose of gaining an educational or vocational qualification in any profession, trade or the arts.

The 2014 competition has not yet opened.

Youth off the Streets National Scholarship Program

The Youth Off The Streets Scholarship Program supports those young people who show the potential and desire to further their talents, but who without assistance would struggle to move forward.

Youth Participation Grants Program

The Youth Participation Grants Program gives young people the power and resources to develop and implement community activities in their local area.

The Layne Beachley Aim for the Stars Foundation Grants

Aim for the Stars offers ambitious and dedicated females an opportunity to receive financial and moral support to help them achieve their goals. Young women aged 12 and above are invited to apply.

Anne Wearne Memorial Trust Grants

The Anna Wearne Trust aims to create opportunities for young people to reach their potential, where such potential is hampered due to disadvantage or inequality.

Indent Partnership Grants

The Indent Partnership Grants provide Grassroot Grants and Event Development Grants to support events that are being staged by young people around NSW.
